    💔💔💔💔

The doctors told us that they have tried everything for Zinnia, theirs a part of her body that isn't responding. The membrane that gets rid of fluid from the tissue. She's gaining fluid in her tissue that will make her worser.

Zeb Brown and I would like to thank everyone's support, prayers & love through this journey we have been through. We haven't given up on her, but at this point we need a miracle to get that membrane to do its job.

    Thank you ❤️💜💚❤️💜💚

I went home for the long weekend, the doctors were excited to trial Zinnia on the oxygen mask, no ventilator and no tracheostomy.

Unfortunately late last night I got a phone call that Zinnias lung was leaking and today she went for an operation to seal the hole in her lung. It went very good her operation.

But when her surgeon went to look at her lung their were NO signs of her previous hole healing. So their is a possibility that their will be more holes occuring. They want to try & find ways to help Zinnia heal faster ❤️💜❤️

Day 100 in Starship Auckland Hospital. We currently still in Paediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Zinnia has came off the ECMO machine, she's currently on the ventilator (supporting her oxygen), Peritoneal dyalisus (does the kidneys job), feeding tube, iv & artery line (put her medication in). She's on a alot of medication, antibiotic, heart & blood pressure medication, sedations. Zinnia has a heart condition, which affects her blood pressure, her kidneys have failed(no longer working). Atm we are in a stable and good position.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, support & prayers. We have made it this far. And we are still going. She's fighting all the way. ❤️💚💜💚❤️

Can't keep this sh#t in, so Zinnia kidneys have failed. Her right lung has collapsed, they can't do anything for it but surgery. They have to cut a quarter of her lung but she might not survive. If she does survive theirs a Chance she might die by her heart stopping. They have given us a option of letting her go, painfree & peacefully. To us that's not a option. Zeb and I agree to surgery, and if she goes during or after surgery that's her choice. I'm not having a burden on us to let her go if she a chance of surviving. I do have faith and hope she will survive, I just don't know what my life will be like if I loose her. Loosing my baby Ruiha in 2019 was hard, so this will just be harder. But my love is strong 💟💟💟

Zinnia asleep right now, she looks so good that you will think theirs nothing wrong with her. Love you my baby ❤️❤️❤️

Zinnia is going into theatre to get her ECMO machine off. This is the last photo of her being on the machine. So exciting but so scared of this. So much risk but our family are confident of her surgeon and his team 💜💚💙❤️

Nothing has really changed for Zinnia. She's still on the ECMO machine, she's not ventilating. She's still highly sedated and today she has another infection bacteria. She's still Zinnia, fighting for her life. She always has the nurses and doctors on her toes. Couple of days ago she also bleed out from her lungs which was so terrifying.

    Update.

Today Zinnia's right lung has showed us that their are more holes. Tomorrow the Dr wants to put the ventilating tube into her left lung. She has also started to take anti-inflammatory medicine, they should kick in 2 week's. They have also started her on another sedation medicine which is working and she's settled when she wakes up. Atm Zinnia is still at a stand still point. And we don't know if she's progressing or not. Zinnia is still on the ECMO machine.

Zinnia is still on the ECMO machine. She started ventilating her lungs. A little bit but that is a big improvement from nothing to something. You can follow our facebook group page to keep updated on Zinnia. I am open to questions ❤️❤️
