It is with the deepest love, hope and faith in miracles, that I, Lucille’s baby sister and best friend created this page. We can share, after 5 months of trying to process our unfathomable reality, that Lucille was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer on Thursday, 14 November 2024. I am reaching out to everyone who knows and loves her, to please help us raise funds for treatment that could improve her quality of life and add years to her life.
Lucille has had a hard journey since her initial diagnosis with aggressive Stage 3 Breast Cancer in February 2020. She endured 3 surgeries, 16 cycles of chemotherapy and 15 sessions of radiation during the scariest part of COVID-19. A real-life miracle occurred when in March 2021, Lucille was diagnosed as in remission.
After almost 4 years (in remission), cancer cells have travelled from her initial breast tumour via her lymphatic system, to other parts of her body, and she currently has over 16 tumours. Stage 4 Breast Cancer means that there is no cure.
After Lucille’s initial diagnosis, 2 close family members were also diagnosed with Breast Cancer and tragically passed. This loss has magnified Lucille’s Stage 4 diagnosis.
We are very grateful for her health insurance that covers her primary oncology cancer treatment. But there are treatments and healing paths that are not covered, that we are raising funds for.
Lastly, could you please share this page with your family and friends. Thank you so very much for your kindness and care.
Lucille is my sister.
Funds raised will be spent on on-going treatment not covered by her insurance, even if the full amount isn't raised. Treatment includes Vitamin C infusions (immunity & lesion treatment); psychology & physiotherapy sessions; acupuncture & reiki for pain.
My Positive Cancer Treatment Update 3 September 2025
I would like to begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who showed me kindness and care throughout my Breast Cancer Journey. And to everyone who donated to my Give-a-Lottie page, those near and far, family and friends, and strangers who have become my biggest cheerleaders - thank you!
Since my sister established this page, I have been battling with health issues due to my compromised immunity. What started as the flu, progressed to bronchitis and after almost 3 months, I am finally healed. This infection sparked my lymphedema and for the first time painful cellulitis in my right arm, with my hand mainly affected. Your donations have assisted with GP visits, several vitamin C infusions to boost my immunity, new lymphoedema treatment and compression. I am happy to share that I am 98% healed. And it was your generous gifts - prayers, thoughts and donations - that so generous contributed to my healing. So thank you with all my heart.
Now for the best news: My many tumours are “frozen”, also known as my cancer being under control. This means that my tumours have stopped growing and the treatment is working! #blessed #grateful #bestill
