Today, awqaf (plural of waqf) are a tool empowering communities - including Muslim minorities - around the world. But not yet in New Zealand! Your waqf donation will represent a capital gift or endowment, which is invested in a Shari'ah-compliant way to earn investment returns. These returns will be used to provide charitable projects and services, to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Your capital donation (or waqf) will stay intact (in the form of an investment), creating a more sustainable platform for providing these projects and services.
