Bake the World a Kinder Place

$85 of $20,000 goal
Given by 4 generous donors in 5 weeks

If you want to help bake the world a kinder place, please donate a little to help us grow and spread more sweetness around Aotearoa.

Nationwide

Let's face it, 2020 has been a bit of a doozy and we could all do with some more kindness.

We need your help this Kindness Week to raise funds so we can continue our mission to make Aotearoa the kindest place on earth. We don't need much - we try very hard to be as lean as possible, and certainly have a fraction of the overheads of similarly sized volunteer organisations.

Here's how your donation will make a difference:

$5 helps us share a moment of sweetness with around 20 people.

$25 keeps one of our smaller chapters in boxes for three months

$100 keeps one of our larger chapters in boxes for a months

$500 gives us a week of part time administrative support

Please join us this Kindness Week so that we can continue to help make Aotearoa a kinder place and bring communities together during the tough times in life.

Good Bitches Baking is a network of people on a mission to bring a little sweetness to New Zealander’s days through the gift of baking.

We know first-hand what a difference home baking can make to those having a tough time. Whether its families with children in hospital; those using food banks and soup kitchens; residents in hospice and their loved ones; women and children fleeing domestic violence. We deliver home baking to organisations that have direct access to people like this and are able to make sure it gets to those that really need a treat.

Our fabulous bakers and drivers donate their time, ingredients and most importantly, good old fashioned aroha, to make this all possible. And we’re here to support them every step of the way but the truth is, we need your help to keep it going.

We've worked incredibly hard over the last few years to keep up with demand and get us to where we are. But running a charity of this size does cost money and we need funds to keep the ovens on and boxes stacked for the bakers. So we’re asking everyone to help bake the world a kinder place by joining us for Kindness Week 2020!

Any amount you donate, whether large or small, will help make sure people know that they are not alone and that there are others in the community who are standing alongside them.

About us

We aim to make Aotearoa the kindest place on earth.

Use of funds

All money raised will be put towards GBB’s operational costs at a national level – it’s all the system and processes that support our 2,600+ volunteers who are baking NZ better. It will help us trial and roll out new ways for people to be kind.
