Support Barbie's fight against Breast Cancer

Barb found out 4 weeks ago she had Stage 3 Invasive Breast Cancer. Within of two weeks of discovery, she was in Rotorua Hospital having a mascetomy. She is now just home healing from surgery and about to undergo a full years of Chemotherapy.

Post-operatively, the surgeons have told her that there is another cancerous tumor in her underarm area, and needs to go backwards and forth to Waikato and Rotorua hospital every week until treatments start in a few weeks.

She will need extensive time off for her treatments, which is once every three weeks.

Anyone who knows Barb, will know that she is not the type of person to let on if she is not feeling well, or to ask for help. She is a proud, fierce and strong woman. Instead of wallowing in the diagnosis, she has the most amazing positive outlook, especially since it happened so fast, and she barely had anytime to get her head around it. She is keeping a photo and video diary of her journey to date and will continue this throughout her treatments, in order to raise awareness of early detection of Breast Cancer, and just how important taking care of your health is and routine checks for all types of cancer.

We would like to offer support for Barbie for her ongoing costs throughout her treatments, so any funds raised will be put towards the following:
