Giving Craig Quality of Life and more Time on Planet Earth
Wairoa, Hawke's Bay
In 2019 Craig was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer ,at the time his fiancée Natasha was three months pregnant with their daughter Ruby
Craig fought extremely hard to overcome this cancer, undergoing 3 surgeries and months of chemotherapy. In early 2020 he was given fantastic news that he was in remission.
However in 2021,and being in remission from bowel cancer and only 4 months from marrying the love of his life, Craig was given the worst news ever, the cancer had returned, but this time with Stage four, Terminal Stomach cancer and he was told it was incurable.
Craig has started Chemotherapy and he is eligible for the partially funded drug Avastin.
This treatment will hopefully give Craig
1-2 more years to spend with his loved ones.
Unfortunately this drug is extremely expensive and has to be administered privately which comes at a high cost.
The first course of treatment will cost $34k and if this course is unsuccessful it will cost a further 30k plus for another round of treatment.
As many of you will know reading this, Craig is one of the most generous spirited people you will meet, he makes everyone smile with his fabulous stories, He is the kindest friend, an upstanding member of the community, a incredible artist and above all and an amazing Father and step father to his four children and He's an amazing Partner to his beloved Fiancée to Natasha.
Your kind donation will help with the cost of his treatment ,and as he is the sole breadwinner it will help support Natasha and their four children, Thomas 11, Madeline 9, Luca 6 and Ruby 2 when he's unable to work.
Most importantly you donation will help give Craig more precious time to spend with his Family and Friends.
This Time that he can use to make loving memories with his friends and Family, his children and Fiancée that they will hold close forever.
I grew up with Craig and we lived next door to each other, he's my Brother from another Mother
Helping pay for extra treatment Avastin (not funded) to extend his time with us and his quality of life
