Your donation will help us get a BRAND NEW 8m x 5m MARQUEE custom-made by JHC in Whangarei. It'll anchor our presence when we take our kaupapa to marae, schools, community fairs and when we host the Little & Local Markets at the Kaipatiki Ecohub.
Bay Bush Action Trust is a registered charity operating with three trustees. We organise contractors and run a team of volunteers to carry out multi-species pest control to protect our native wildlife in the Opua State Forest, Bay of Islands.
In 2021-2022 we tripled our protected area to 2000 hectares to help kiwi and other native birds recover. We're contracting locals to do it using the Government's Jobs For Nature funding.
