Beakers Biggest Challenge
Beaker and her family need our support more now than ever during the battle that nobody wants have to fight.
Woodend, Canterbury
Karen Giles who many of you know as Beaker is currently fighting the biggest battle of her life to date, The Big "C". She has held many a hand, wiped many a tear, fed many a mouth, had many a laugh with more kids and rugby players than any of us will ever know through their years at one of her and wife Wendy's favourite places Woodend Rugby Club along with the role of caregivers.
These two ladies have a close knit wee family who have felt the news hit them really hard. Beaker is and would be one of the best and loyal sideline supporters of any sport.
Get out there and be the best supporter and show the "Opposition" that this is a battle that the Giles family and the rest of Woodend won't back down from.

I am one of many lucky enough who has gotten to know this awesome family over the years and want to see Beaker and Wendy get what they deserve. It's our time to pay back.
Use of funds
All funds will be spent to help with hospital travel expenses, time off work for the family and anything else that Beaker might find comfort in.

Hi all from Beaker
Thank you all so much for your donations of money, food, time etc. The family and I are very humbled by your generosity.
Oncologist appt soon to sort the next step in the chapter. We will let you know as soon as we have more info.
