❤️ Please Help Support Baby Eden and Her Family ❤️
Maungaturoto, Northland
Our precious Baby Eden is only 2 months old, and our family is facing a heartbreak we never imagined. Eden recently developed whooping cough and has been fighting for her life in hospital for over a week. She became critically unwell, needing to be intubated and medically sedated, and today she is being transferred from Whangārei to Starship Hospital for specialist care.
On top of everything, Eden developed a condition known as “sticky blood,” causing her white blood cell count to soar. Earlier today, she began suffering seizures that led to one of the most terrifying moments any parent could face — our sweet girl flatlined. By the grace of God and the incredible work of her doctors, Eden was brought back to us.
Her parents — my beautiful cousin Zara and her partner — have not left her side. They have had to stop working without warning, and the emotional, physical, and financial toll is overwhelming. No family should have to worry about bills or travel costs while fighting to keep their baby alive.
I have created this fundraiser to lift some of the weight off their shoulders. Your support will help cover travel, essential household expenses, and anything Eden’s parents need during this unimaginable journey.
If you are able to give, no matter how small, it would mean the world to our family. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity are more appreciated than words can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us hold up this beautiful little family during this hard time
the beneficiary is my cousin and her partner and daughter
This money will help this family cover the cost of bills at home that cannot be maintained due to loss of work and the travel required to make it to star ship hospital

Eden continues to fight daily for her health. She is now on CPap, however may need to go back on ventilation as her lung has collapsed again, and she continues to have ups and downs associated with severe pertussis. Eden has also been placed on methadone to help wean her off some of the addictive meds she’s been on while on ventilation, such as morphine and fentanyl. Looks very possible that it will be a Christmas and New Year’s at Starship for her and the family.
Eden and her family have a long journey ahead of them.
Please support the family in anyway you can, as they deal with their world being turned upside down.
Thank you so much to all who have given so far. It has taken so much pressure off bills, transport and other financial matters both at hospital and at home.
