For many people across New Zealand, the fear of losing someone close becomes a reality when a child, a spouse, a friend, an elderly parent, or family member living with dementia, neurodivergence or disability —goes missing.
With a quarter of our operations occurring in urban areas looking for vulnerable members of the community our volunteer responders truly are Everywhere for Everyone.

About us
Land Search and Rescue New Zealand provide assistance to the lost, missing and injured throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our unpaid professionals offer their specialist search and rescue skills free to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Together we can create impact. All funds raised go towards ensuring the future of our free service as we assist the lost, missing and injured throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
