LANDSAR IS ONE OF THE MOST TRUSTED CHARITIES IN NEW ZEALAND. Our search and rescue volunteers contribute their time freely and we need to train and equip them. They donated over 157,000 hours in the year ended June 2018 to training and rescue operations. The goodwill and generosity of the public can help us fund accredited training programmes, ongoing operational expenses and equipment purchases.

More about us

Provides expert land search and rescue services free of charge to members of the public lost or missing in suburban, urban, wilderness and rural areas, shorelines and caves throughout New Zealand.
