New Zealand Land Search & Rescue (LandSAR) is the national volunteer organisation which provides free land search and rescue services.
LANDSAR IS THE 3RD MOST TRUSTED CHARITY IN NEW ZEALAND. Our search and rescue volunteers contribute their time freely and we need to train and equip them. They donate over 20,000 hours to rescue operations and spend over 76,000 hours training for rescue operations every year. The goodwill and generosity of the public can help us fund accredited training programmes, ongoing operational expenses and equipment purchases.
Provides expert land search and rescue services free of charge to members of the public lost or missing in suburban, urban, wilderness and rural areas, shorelines and caves throughout New Zealand.
