Beloved Batman is losing his leg.☹

Hi everyone this is our cat Batman. Alot of you will know him as the community cat. He loves hanging out around Woodend school, shops and community center for a bit of attention. Unfortunately He was hit by a car lastnight and is going to have his leg amputated. 😔 I am not one to ask for help and know that he is my responsibility....However it's his leg or his life. With an overnight stay at the vet and the cost of his amputation and after care we are looking at over $2000. As a family of six....you can imagine this unexpected cost and the thought of losing our beloved Batman is very difficult. If anyone would like to help or is able to donate towards Batmans vet bill. This would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you

Batman update 27 June 2022
Hi everyone. 🥰Just a little update for all that have shown love and support for our Sweet Batman. Batman had surgery last Tuesday to remove a badly broken leg. Surgery went well and after a few rough days he is now on the mend. The week has required lots of snuggles, sleep and pain meds for our Batman. He is now very eager to get out and visit all his friends....but will need a few more weeks to recover before his meany Mum let's him out of her sight. 🤭 Thank you everyone who has shown love and given their support. Our family (especially Batman) appreciate everyone! We are forever grateful and are absolutely blown away by all the love we have received for Batman. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
