Ben's Going to the Globe!

Along with 23 of New Zealand's most talented young actors, I will be participating in Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand's Young Shakespeare Company (SGCNZ YSC). This means that in July the company will travel to London to work with industry professionals and perform an hour long piece, from scratch in just two weeks, in a public performance as Shakespeare's Globe! This is an amazing opportunity, not just as an actor, but for skills in critical thinking, organisation, communication and performance, all things that will be vital in starting a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Otago next year. The intensive course aims to not only develop ourselves as actors, but to give us life skills and to better our understanding of the world around us.
