A page for people to givealittle to a couple who givealot!
Berhampore, Wellington
Our dear friends, Berhampore couple, Tahni Daniels and Neal Jenkins, are having to strip the contents of their house after the devastation of Monday's flooding, meaning they have nowhere to live, and for Tahni, nowhere to work.
Neal was at home asleep with the children (Billy, 6 & Charlie, 3) with Tahni overseas in Sydney for business when the floods started. Neal was woken by their dog to find water leaking through their kitchen, and before he had a chance to grab towels, the ground floor of the house was covered in knee height water.
Tahni and Neal are a big part of the Berhampore community, with Tahni's salon building up a significant client base over the last 6 years and Neal having tiled most Wellington properties over the last 15 years, now is the time for us to give back to them!
While Tahni and Neal are more comfortable being generous to others, with some encouragement from their friends and family, they've agreed to set this page up, as the long journey ahead becomes clearer to them both.
An insurance claim is in process which will take some time and not cover everything.
Any and all help is deeply appreciated by this wonderful family!

Funds raised will go towards cost of living and replacing essential items that have been destroyed.
Tahni and Neal have a long road ahead of them, with insurance assessing their home, they will likely be displaced for at least 6 months!
