Bethells Fire 40th commemoration

This year Bethells Fire commemorates 40 years of locals serving locals and we would like your support to mark this milestone.

The brigade has been an essential part of the community, a part of the history of this area.

Over the years your neighbours have turned out at all hours, fought fires, searched for and rescued people, horses and dogs. Our crew have supported around the west, Auckland and went to Christchurch after the earthquake.

Many of the original and early members are getting on and so we want to take this opportunity to gather their stories. The commemoration has 4 parts, a formal dinner for past and present members, a commemorative glass, a small book and a short film.

We are seeking contributions for two wider community aspects, the book and the film.

Both will be produced with support from locals. The film and book will share photographs, interviews and stories of the history of the team and the area.

$30 get a copy of the book

$100 get a credit in and a copy of the book

$300 Get a credit in the film and a copy of the book

$1000 All the above and a tour / training at your place
