Help Bianca Represent NZ at the Dragon Boat Worlds in Germany!

Kia ora! I’m Bianca, and I’ve been selected to represent New Zealand as part of the 2025 NZ Black Dragons squad heading to the World Dragon Boat Championships in Germany!

I first picked up a paddle in 2014/15 with Epsom Girls Grammar, kicking off my dragon boat journey with a school team that has a serious legacy. After a break during university, I returned to the sport, looking for something active and social, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve paddled six seasons with Lion Dragon Boat Club, the oldest club in Aotearoa, and proudly represented Auckland in the Premier Women’s division for the past three years. It still feels surreal to say… but I’ll be heading to Germany with the squad to represent Aotearoa on the world stage from the 16 to 20 of July 2025!

This campaign is fully self-funded with paddlers covering the costs for flights, accommodation, race fees, uniforms, insurance, meals, and travel to multiple training camps. I’m raising funds through local raffles, bake sales, and this page. Any support you can give helps ease the financial pressure and brings me one step closer to that start line in Germany.
