Cycling 1000km from Christchurch to Milford Sound. Fundraising for Lads Without Labels in support of men's mental health.
Canterbury
In this day and age, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Life comes at you fast and there are times when it all might seem like too much. Guys in particular are at risk of feeling alone because we’ve been brought up to suppress our emotions and avoid asking for help. We need to remember that asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength!
So to raise awareness for men’s mental health, I’ll be attempting to cycle over 1000km from Christchurch to Milford Sound, a trip I’ve affectionately named ‘Bike for the Boys’. I’ll be setting off on the 6th of April and I’m expecting the trip to take me roughly two weeks as I bike through the heart of our beautiful country.
I’ve also teamed up with Lads Without Labels, an awesome group at
University of Canterbury who are dedicated to improving men’s mental health in and around campus. I’ll be using this trip to help fundraise for them so they can keep putting in the good work, because we all have men we care about.
Lastly, thank you all so much for your support, words can’t express how excited I am to be doing this! Bring it on!

When it comes to looking out for your mates, we all have a part to play. This trip is the very least I can do for all the guys I care about. I hope this challenges you to be the best person you can be and to take on your own adventure for a great cause.
All proceeds will go to Lads Without Labels to help them fund new projects aimed at raising awareness for men's mental health.
