We've got helmets! We have some money to start but not enough to finish. We are so close but you need your help to get this happening.

The Board of Trustees of Gulf Harbour School, would like to announce that in honour of our founding (and soon departing) Principal, Mr John Petrie, we would like to name the school Bike Track, “The Petrie Track”. John has devoted so much of his life to the families in the Gulf Harbour Community that we feel this is an appropriate way to acknowledge his legacy. The bike track initiative was developed by children at our school, who have always been challenged by John to “Be the Difference”, and will be something that the whole community can enjoy for years to come.
Building a bike track is an expensive and very worthwhile undertaking for the school and the wider community. We have been successful in raising funds through funding grants, corporate sponsorships and the efforts of the PTA through events such as the Gala. We still need to raise more for us to be able to build the Petrie Track this year and have our children riding around the track by the Gala. To get us over the shortfall and to let us start work in October, we need your help.
Gulf Harbour School is set on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. Our Year 1 - 6 students learn and play in a stimulating and creative environment focused on academic and personal growth.
