Bill & Glenda Le Bas

Bill (74) and Glenda (76) are a super, quality, genuine couple who have been married for 26 years. Every year since 1992, Bill and Glenda have saved up every cent that they could get their hands on so that they could do their yearly mission trip over into Eastern countries. This has been a great passion for them both, despite Glenda being hard of hearing and Bill with a leg which gives him a lot of pain due to a past injury. They have been so determined to make this happen each year and have made some close friends overseas.

Bill has just recently made the decision to quit his weekly job so that he and Glenda could slow down a bit and enjoy some time together. Unfortunately, just after Bill's decision Glenda received a terminal pancreatic cancer diagnosis and given 6-12 months.

While trying to deal with the shock that their time together maybe shorter than they expected, Glenda has made the wish that she would like a holiday with Bill and spend time with close family and friends.

Something Glenda has always wanted to do is a train trip down through New Zealand. Please donate to make this a reality for them. This holiday would mean the world to Bill and Glenda, as she fights not to give into this diagnosis.
