Billie Beans Recovery

Last Wednesday our Billie spontaneously become very unwell. Our darling girl has been battling overnight emergency care for the past 6 days. She has been referred to a highly regarded specialists vet in Auckland to give her the best chance possible. Currently, they haven't been able to give an exact diagnosis but believe it could be a rare auto immune disease causing muscle and nerve failure. However, it is certain that through her battle our Billie has developed repository pneumonia leaving her unable to breathe without assistance of a ventilator.

Given our Billie is only 2 and that this happened so suddenly, this is massively upsetting to us and the many that love Billie Brown. Tomorrow we are going to try a final time to wake her up and see if she can breathe without assistance. If successful, Billie will be monitored closely until she can breathe and walk on her own. We will have to make a tough decision if this time is not successful.

Our insurance has covered up to $10,000 which unfortunately hasn't been able to cover the full cost of her care so far. We are heartbroken to be having to write this page and any contribution towards Billie is hugely appreciated but your love and support is also enough.
