Our Billy has been given the go ahead to start chemo which he did on last Friday. He is doing really well at the moment but the oncologist did say the side affects generally kick in in the second week, so we are making the most of walking and playing while hes feeling well :) <3
So we got the phone call from Massey vet hospital yesterday that we where praying for <3 Billy is ok to start Chemo on Friday which means they think he has a fighting chance. So confusing to be happy about him having chemo as Billy appears still to be well and handling everything in his rather large stride. Just hate to think of his getting sick but this could save his life which is the main thing <3
Billys Home <3 Abit sore and wearing the cone of shame as he has many stitches 10-14 days, then he starts chemo . Our brilliant surgeon Kat got the one by his butt out cleanly but the one by his aorter was stuck badly so she removed nearly all of this (any more could have been a bleed out stroke or blood lose to his right leg. Our Billy is having surgery this afternoon <3 CT found two tumors but both are able to be removed <3 <3 So hard leaving my boy behind <3 But yeah better this way <3 Should be able to get him tomorrow then he will start chemo.
