Birkenhead United Chatham Cup Quarter Final travel fund support to Napier 28 July 2024.

Birkenhead United AFC Men's 1st team have qualified for the Chatham Cup Quarter Final. The team have been drawn away to Napier City Rovers on the 28 July 2024. Due to the costs associated with traveling to the match we are asking for the support of the local community to ensure the team have the best opportunity and preparation possible to continue their journey in the Chatham Cup.

The cost of accommodation, flights and travel to and from airports in Napier is something as a community based club we would very much appreciate your support with.

Use of funds

Return flights from Auckland to Napier for 18 players/1 physio/3 coaches, accommodation for the evening before the match. Travel costs to and from airports to the accommodation and match venue in Napier. Food expenses from the local supermarket.

Semi-final here we come!!  31 July 2024

Thanks to everyone for your generous support in sending the players to Napier for the Chatham Cup QF. The boys managed to win 2-1 in a well contested quarter final. Next stop Auckland City away in the semi-finals!!!
