BLAKE Expedition Environmental Expedition and Gear Fundraising
Help me get to the Sub Antarctic, to join Scientists with environmental projects

Hi, I am Georgia and I was selected to go on a BLAKE Expedition trip. The Sir Peter Blake Foundation, founded by Sir Peter Blake in 2004, is dedicated to continuing on Sir Peter Blakes Environmental Leadership throughout New Zealand. As part of the BLAKE Expedition, I will be travelling down to the Sub Antarctic Islands and Southern Ocean with the New Zealand Navy, D.O.C. and other scientists. I a Passionate about the environment and I am looking forward to working with scientists to work on environmental projects so that they and I can understand more about the environment. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, that will allow me to expand my knowledge on environmental issues.
Use of funds
As part of getting into the program, a majority of the costs are subsidised by the Sir Peter Blake Foundation, however, we are asked to donate at least 2,000. I will also be using some of this money to buy some gear.
