Seeking donations for materials needed to make Weighted Blankets to donate to families with young children on the Autism Spectrum or other conditions. Weighted blankets assist by using pressure to ease anxiety, help the child feel grounded and assist in calming. Materials needed are plastic pellets to enable the blankets to be washable. I will seek fabric and other materials myself. I am donating my time to do this in order to help other families like my own who cannot afford to pay retail for these therapeutic aids.
