Blues Top Surgery

My name is Blue and I am a transgender man. I am 18 years old and have been taking testosterone for over a year and living openly as a guy for about a 2 years now. I am making this page to try to get some help covering the costs of Top surgery (the removal of breast tissue to create a masculine appearing chest).

The surgery is going to cost approximately $16,000 NZD which covers everything from the procedure and anesthetics to the hospital stay and dressings.

The reason this surgery is so important to me is because I have struggled with dysphoria for years. The feeling that something is wrong. One of the main causes of my dysphoria is my chest. To cope with this I bind my chest so tightly that it causes bruising and I struggle to breath, I came across this surgery only to find that the public waiting list for this surgery is years long so going privately at this point is my only choice but it's an expensive one.

All I could ever ask for is to be able to go to the beach topless, not experience the pain binding causes, and to feel comfortable in my body. Top surgery will do this for me and make a very uncomfortable boy into the happiest man alive.
