Bluff fire destroys workshop, Cliff Donaghy lost most of his panel beating tools and equipment

Bluff Fire,

On Friday the 7th of Febuary a fire totally destroyed a workshop being leased by Cliff Donaghy to store cars and carry out panel beating repairs, and painting The fire was an accident and Cliff tried to fight the fire and received burns to his face requiring hospital treatment.

Unfortunately the building was not insured and Cliff had no insurance cover on his tools and equipment within the building he was leasing.

6 fire appliances attended including the Bluff volunteer fire brigade but were unable to save the building.

Cliff had accumulated a large amount of specialized tools over the years as a panel beater servicing many of the local businesses and helping the people of bluff over the years with car repairs,and it was all destroyed. in the fire.

As his friend i can see this has a devastating affect on Cliff, as some of the vehicles destroyed were not his and the shock of loosing all his tools.

talking with him he was most concerned with finding a way to make reparation to his customer who lost his van to the fire this is Cliffs nature to help others before himself.
