Bonnie's Road Cycling World Champs 2023 - Glasgow

I am a year 13 student from Auckland, aged 17.

I have just been selected to represent NZ at the UCI Junior Road World Champs in Glasgow on the 5th August 2023. I am so excited and honoured to represent New Zealand again.

This is an incredible opportunity for me to build on last years performance where I placed 17th at the 2022 World Champs in Wollongong. A race where I was the highest placed 1st year U19 rider and highest placed Oceania rider. This year my goal is to place in the top 10 and hopefully spring board into a professional racing career.

This campaign is a huge cost for me and my family as it is 100% self funded and I really need the help of any amazing people who can help out financially. My costs include flights, travel, accommodation, insurance, international race license, food, coaching, bike parts. All up this campaign will cost approximately $15k. I work part time whilst studying at school to help pay for some of the expenses and my parents pay for as much as they can, but this year they are finding it tough given the tight time frames to make it to Glasgow in late July.
