Hello! I'm a kiwi travelling the world learning yoga in India and teaching English in Vietnam.

While in Rishikesh India, I spent four weeks with a Guru Ji - Telik - learning and applying the philosophy of a yogic life. Yoga is a way of living and has inspired me to help people especially the many children I meet in India who have no education and resort to begging, some are controlled by gangs and have no other way of life.

Guru Ji - Telik - is making a difference for children like this and has a small helping society called 'Om ruder cultural society' where he is a teacher. Most of his income is used to support some of the poorest communities in the area. Where many children there have no access to school because its far away, Guru Ji Telik has plans to open a school so that children can access education and learn to live safely.

My mission is to raise funds for Guru Ji's community in India by inspiring Kiwis to read books and fund this cause. Western people have the power of choice where others do not. I'm hopeful you will give in support of Guru Ji and his good work. Already there are many positive outcomes from his support where people in poverty are shining and loving instead of struggling and in violent situations.
