Help me get something off my chest
Otago
Kia Ora, my name is Bo, and I'm a trans-masc university student seeking to raise money for privately funding this leg of my transition. Why am I doing it privately? In New Zealand, gender affirming surgeries typically have incredibly long wait times in the public health sector, and there are obstacles such as having to "prove" my transness. Currently, I'm ineligible to even get on the waiting list.
In the past years I've realised how tied together my gender presentation is to my mental health - ever since I've start testosterone I've become a lot more comfortable in my skin. But I'm not there yet - I still avoid looking at myself in the mirror, and hide my chest wherever possible. I cannot imagine the sheer power I will unlock when my body fits just right and I can begin to love myself fully.
I'm not asking you to donate much - but any contribution is hugely appreciated. If you can't afford but would like to help, consider watching my film on youtube and letting any ads run their course, or share it with people you think would appreciate it.
