Bothwell Baby Loss

Tia and Morgan, were very excited to announce the pregnancy of their 3rd son on 7th November 2017, due 4th April 2018, a little brother for Tyler (10) and Mason (3).

Unfortunately at 21 weeks Tia started to have cramping and spotting, many visits to the Midwife, Doctor, Hospital and scans they were told all was okay. Just two weeks later Tia started having contractions and was admitted to Hospital on the 7th December 2017. The hospital could not do much other than let nature take its course, as Tia had lost all her waters. Wee Hunter James Bothwell was born on the early hours of Tuesday morning 12th December 2017 at just 23 weeks 6 days gestation weighing only 550 grams. Hunter was born early due to Tia's placenta detaching from the sides of her womb.

Hunter was a wee fighter and made a massive impact on so many family and friends. His brothers were so excited to have a new baby but knew it would be a long time before he would be able to come home.

Due to being 17 weeks premature wee Hunter, passed away on the late hours of Saturday 16th December 2017 being only 4 days old. Hunter passed away due to organ failure.

This is a very sad and horrible time for both Tia and Morgan, but also for their sons Tyler and Mason, who will be learning to understand death. It is going to be a long hard journey to get through this loss of Hunter, but i know that Tia and her family are strong and have lots of support and love surrounding them to help them through it.

I have created this page (with Charda's help) to help fund raise money for the Bothwell family due to Morgan being off work for the past 3 weeks, organising the house and children. The money raised will help with the costs towards Hunters funeral, a nice Christmas for Tyler and Mason and to help recover the extra expenses incurred during this time.
