The British Open Brass Band Championships 2016 will be held in the Symphony Hall, Birmingham on Saturday 10th September.
In the last few years the Wellington Brass Band have won 4 New Zealand National titles, and just last year took out the Australian National championships to become the Australasian champion Brass Band. After our success the band has been invited to attend the British Open! The event itself is one of the most sought after prizes in the Brass Band world and it is an honour for our band to be invited.
I am after some financial support to attend this competition. Playing in Brass Bands has been a huge part of my life, and it will be a dream come true to be able to compete against the World's finest Brass Bands. All donations will be greatly appreciated and I will do my best to make everyone proud.
