Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world championship 2019

It was an amazing experience to compete at this level. Told that the competitors in this comp would likely be in the worlds inspired me to see where I sat in world standards and where to aim. My first match was amazing and a win! The second was much harder and I later learned she is the world champ in my division. Competing in the Women's division here and now I feel is right where I belong. We tied at the end but she won by an advantage and later went on to dominate the rest of the field. I feel really good about my performance in this comp and see where I am going. I feel great! My mum, Kym Poretti, will now have the give a little going into a bank account in her name to pay the things I need and to pass onto me here in the USA. It just makes sense for us to do it that way. I want to thank all my supporters for enabling me to get here and go for it. I couldn't do it without you. I am grateful, focussed and single minded in my dream. The people around me are positive, encouraging and challenging me to grow and stretch. I am loving every minute, Thank you all!
