Breast Reduction Surgery

I’m a 23 year old young adult and have been struggling with larger breasts (14H). This has been an on going journey since I was 17 years old.

I’ve been down all the paths from GP visits to get the funding from public hospital, where I was turned down a handful of times. To searching for private funding where it’s challenging to fund $18,000. I suffer from a lot of neck and back pain which turns into terrible migraines, rib pain and leaving dents on my shoulders. My skin basically turns raw from rubbing under my breasts and around my back.

I was a very active person and was out there going for runs, playing netball and just enjoying the lovely walks and sunshine around my home town. Now I just don’t have the motivation to get out the house, because the thought of wearing a sport bras, bikinis and nice fitting clothing is so overwhelming as I can’t just wear off the shelf bras / clothing easily.

I know $18,000 is a lot of money, any funds that are made would be much appreciated, I don’t mind how little, a little goes a long way.

This frustration I feel is unbearable, I can not wait till the day where I can get back to feeling confident and getting back into the activities I enjoy without being sexualised and judged for it.
