Help me to attend the 2017 Waka Ama world champsionships
I am asking for fund to help me prepare for and attend the 2017 Waka Ama World championships in Tahiti in June 2017.

I, Brent Lynn, a memeber of the Parihaka Waka-ama Club, based in Whangarei, New zealand, have been selected to represent New Zealand in a 6-person per Waka, 18 kilometre Waka-ama race at the 2017 Waka-ama World Championships in Tahiti, French Polynesia, in June 2017. The team is comprised of memebers from all across New Zealand, so i am very fortunate to have been selected in the team. Taking up the sport of Waka-ama regularly six months ago, I am extremely proud to have made the national team. Through alot of time and committment, I intend to give my very best for the team at the event, and hopefully come home with a good result
Use of funds
As part of being selected in this team, there is a requirement to attend a certain amount of training camps before going to the world champs. I intend to use the money donated to me to attend theses training camps, and also towards the costs of the trip it self to Tahiti
