I am helping to build a bridge in Rwanda with Bridges To Prosperity and fundraising to cover travel costs.
Auckland
I work as a Bridge Engineer with WSP Opus in Auckland and have been selected to help build a bridge in Rwanda with Bridges to Prosperity. The bridge will be built in western Rwanda and is scheduled for completion in August 2019.
Any funds raised will go towards covering travel costs with excess funds being donated to the Bridges to Prosperity organisation.
Bridges to Prosperity is a non-profit organisation that builds bridges to connect rural communities across the world. Since its foundation in 2001, Bridges to Prosperity has connected over one million people, has built over 300 footbridges, and expanded to 18 countries across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central and South America. These bridges create safe access to essential health care, education and economic opportunities, helping to reduce poverty caused by rural isolation.

The funds will be used to cover travel costs with any excess funds being donated to Bridges to Prosperity.
