Bring Marshall’s ashes closer to family

Due to the already expensive cost of moving and leaving Marshall behind in Waihi not being an option we are asking for help with this fee.

Manawatu / Whanganui

Coming up 5 years ago Marshall was killed in a car accident when he suffered a seizure while driving. He left behind his beloved family and his son. His mum Jody and younger brother are now moving back to Palmerston North to be closer to family but to bring Marshall back home the council will have to be paid a fee to exume his ashes and remove his plaque. We have an open goal will raise for one month as we are still finalising costs any extra money will be put towards a resting place here

Jody is my MIL/sons nanny. She has decided to make the move back down to Palmerston North to be closer to her grandson and other family. Leaving Marshall’s ashes so far away isn’t an option but with the cost of moving etc it is somthing we need help with.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
