    Hi everyone,

Once again thank you for your support; I'm forever grateful!! Just to let you know we have received finally after waiting for a month the date of the court case. It will be on Friday 11th of October-which feels like as lifetime away but at least we know.

    Much love.

  • More legal costs

I have just received an invoice for a legal bill for $11,000! Oh my goodness! I'm struggling to find a way to pay this bill. So I have no choice but to bury my pride and ask again if you would be willing to contribute a little bit more if you can. No matter how big or small it all makes just a huge difference! I'm forever grateful for all your support and generosity so far; it really means so much to me and enables me to have the strength to stand up everyday and keep fighting for my daughter. I pray this nightmare ends soon. Love from us both xx

    Dear friends

The directions conference was heard last Monday. This is where the judge makes directions and Orders that will get your case ready for its hearing. You can have lawyers at a directions conference. At my directions conference there were certain proposals put forward by my lawyer and baby's lawyer, but her father blocked every single one of them, so now we have to move to a full hearing. This will take a few weeks to organise as affidavits are prepared.

Once again, thank you for your support. We would not have got this far without you.

We pray that at the hearing the Judge will return day to day care of baby to me, her primary caregiver.

With much love from the both of us xx

    Dear Friends

Once again such heartfelt thanks to all of you who have donated towards legal costs to getting my baby back. I cannot describe how grateful I am.

I have finally been able to see her for a few sleepovers and a weekend and there are no words to describe the feeling of having her back in my arms.

On July 15th, lawyers and a judge will confer to decide the next steps. It could be that we proceed to a full hearing, or that she is returned to me or that the interim parenting order continues for a while longer.

I pray that this nightmare will end next Monday and that I will be able to take my baby back to my lovely new home where we had only spent just a few happy days before she was ripped from my arms.

I believe in the power of collective thought, so please light a candle for us on Monday, around 3.45pm.

  • Legal costs are mounting up!

    Dear Friends

Unfortunately, I heard today that I have been denied legal aid and, in the interim, my legal costs have now exceeded the target I set of $5000.

The amount received so far has enabled me to secure legal access to my beautiful daughter, for which I am eternally grateful, but now I need to increase the target, which will cover the current invoice I have received, and hopefully part of the next.

I am not sure exactly what is going to happen in Court on July 15th, but that is when the interim parenting order is reviewed and the Lawyer for Child presents her recommendations on what is best for her. I am asking for day-to-day care of my daughter, and for her to be returned back to me, her mother and primary caregiver.

Thank you again for bringing my baby back to my arms. I couldn't have done this without your generosity; even the smallest donation has helped immensely.

Ahakoa he iti he pounamu .

With love from the both of us.
