For the last two years, Noah has been sitting in the pound while his owner, Celeste, fought to get him back.

She didn’t give up. She took the fight all the way to the High Court.

And she won.

After two years apart, Noah can finally be released and reunited with his owner. But there’s one final hurdle standing in the way – over $6,000 in pound fees.

To be honest, it feels incredibly unfair. After everything Celeste has been through to get Noah back, she’s now expected to come up with thousands of dollars within just seven days.

Te Ara Kaitiaki will be seeking fee reductions and extensions to give Noah the best chance possible but very rarely do pounds give any leeway with fees regardless of circumstances. So right now, we need help.

Noah has waited two years for this moment. Celeste has spent two years fighting for him. It would be heartbreaking for them to get this close and still not make it home.
