Bring the Ords home

As you probably know, in 2018 my beautiful sister Frankie moved up north for study. Over the next few years she snagged herself a Niels, and they began their family together.

What you might not know is that Frankie has unfortunately been battling Post Natal Depression for some time now, along with other significant mental health issues, as she raises their little ones. On top of that, Niels is currently in a job that is causing him chronic injury. He needs to change his career to stop the damage to his body, but due to their remote location, different job opportunities for his skills are nonexistent.

So where they are finding themselves now is… Stranded. They are so far away from their much needed mental, emotional and physical supports, as well as different career opportunities for Niels, and what they desperately need is to come home to Christchurch where these are all readily available.

It is with urgency that they need to make this move. With interisland travel for them and their belongings along with the associated costs of moving, they have determined they would need in the order of $6000, which is insurmountable for them in their current circumstances. It was suggested to them, that perhaps if their loved ones knew of their dire situation, there may be some that would appreciate an avenue in which to assist them. If you find yourself able to financially help them to make this move to Christchurch as soon as possible, they would be incredibly grateful.
