Chained, neglected and abused. Help bring Bingo to his new forever home and give him another chance at life.
Auckland
Hi, I’m BINGO!
I am a min pin x chihuahua and this is my story...
As you are reading this, I am chained up by my neck to a tree. I have been here since being given away by my previous owner over 2 years ago. You will find me here rain or shine - 24/7, 365.
During the day, it's hot and extremely humid, with usual temperatures exceeding 30C. I weigh a mere 2.5kg so my ribs and spine stick out and makes it sore to sleep on the concrete floor and in my wire cage. My wire cage doesn’t shelter me from heavy rain, so I am left alone soaking wet, frightened and shivering under the tree.
For as long as I can remember, I have been abused and neglected by my owners - you could say that I have had a pretty 'ruff' life. Despite this, I am still a very friendly and quiet dog. However, I am easily startled and often very anxious. I am occasionally beaten, and will cry out for help, but I have nobody to protect me.
Not long ago, I was attacked and severely injured by a big dog and lost a lot of blood, everyone in the neighbourhood was sure I was going to die. However, I miraculously survived, without being taken to a veterinarian for proper treatment.
I am lucky to still be alive and it was fate that I met a visitor in my neighbourhood. Through our brief interaction, this human and I have developed a special bond and I was heartbroken that she had to go home. Before she left, she convinced my current owner to let her adopt me and promised to take me home to New Zealand with her.
My owner-to-be is extremely determined to have me in her arms again and to be a part of her family.
She is trying very hard to get the funds required for the importing process and currently works part-time in retail, whilst completing a masters degree full-time.
But we need your help to give me another chance at life - new life filled with unconditional love, adventures and lots of cuddles and kisses!
I fell in love with Bingo whilst on holiday in Malaysia. I just knew that I had to rescue him and give him a new forever home. I have had countless interactions with stray/ill-treated animals, but there is something so special about Bingo - I have really set my heart on him.
Please help me give Bingo another chance at life!

Hi Joanne, Thank you so much for your donation! will flick you an email re: export. Kind regards, Jing
Hi D, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Bingo is currently still with his current owner, but I have arranged someone to watch over him while we are working on getting him exported. He is no longer tied up outside and has moved into a car porch, where he is sheltered from the elements. I have also arranged veterinarian care and appropriate food, bedding etc for him to try keep him as comfortable as possible during the wait. Thanks again for your support. Kind regards, Jing
Mirendra, thank you so much for your support, I'm blown away! Hope everything is well with you! Best, Jing.
