Brockville Support Trip to Vanuatu
We are taking a small team to work with South West Bay School on Malekula Island, Vanuatu.
Otago
A team of 13 people, 8 young people and 5 adults are travelling to Vanuatu in July 2017. While there we will be working with the children in the school - primary and secondary age as well as helping with maintenance and upkeep work.
Our goals are:
1 Build relationships with the people of South West Bay
2 Contribute our energy and skills to school and village life
3 Create the possibility of bringing some people to visit Brockville, Dunedin in 2018
4 Learn life skills and build our personal resources for life back home.

I believe we can make a positive contribution to the people we visit. And the experience of travelling to a country very different to our own and interacting with its people is life-changing and incredibly valuable for every person on the team.
Use of funds
The funds will contribute toward the cost of airfares - around $17000 all included, and living costs while on Malekula - around $5000.
We plan to bear the other costs individually and through fundraising.
