  • AIMS Games wrapped up with a hard earned win!

    The girls are back in Wellington after an amazing time at the AIMS games.

    It was a real eye-opener to the incredible level of sport across New Zealand.

    The two finalists were both in Brooklyn's round-robin group - no wonder it was so tough!

    Although a challenging tournament, the girls had a fabulous time, and they finished on a win in their final game!

    Thank you for all your support, you've helped to make memories for a lifetime.

    Day 5 of the AIMS games, and what a rollercoaster ride it has been!

    The girls have played exceptionally well, but have been up against some extremely good opposition. Team spirit has remained high despite the challenging results...

    The girls want to say a HUGE thank for all your support.

  • Only a month to go.... The girls are in planning mode!

    We're just over a month away from the start of the AIMS games... eeek!

    Thank you so much to those of you have donated to the girls trip of a lifetime!

    They are SUPER excited! (Understatement!)

    The weekend saw them go into planning mode to help with the fundraising... we have a couple of sausage sizzles/baking days to raise funds arranged at their school. Great to see them working out the costings and marketing, and the all important playlist for music to get them pumped ;)

    The organising also included working on a team chant, and team celebration dance... maybe some inspiration to be sort from the victorious Lionesses from the European Women's Cup Final!!

    The girls have also been busy creating a menu plan and where they might like to explore in Tauranga when they are nor playing Futsal (It will be the first time many of the girls have been to the Bay of Plenty).

    Training is in full swing, the playing kit has been ordered, and the parents are busy working out all the logistics!

    Thanks again for all your support, we'll be posting updates from the practice sessions and sausage sizzle/bake sale.... only another $1,500 to raise to meet our target!!!
