Bug's Top Surgery Fund

Without public funding available, and surgery in NZ costing upwards of 25k, I am seeking top surgery in Madrid with Dr Lagos where the cost is significantly less. This cost is still a hurdle, I am only able to save so much working part time. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get to access this surgery that will greatly improve my quality of life.

It's taken me a long time to get the courage to ask for help but the dysphoria and pain/discomfort from binding is only worsening with time. Binding has left me with chronic pain, heart burn and shortness of breath. My chest has taken a huge toll on my mental health and my ability to enjoy many aspects of life.

I wish to look in the mirror and feel a sense of homeliness in my body. I want to hug my friends, walk down the street, be shirtless on the beach without feeling a sinking feeling in my chest and a longing for a body that is representative of who I am. All the struggle will be worthwhile when I can have that sense of comfort and freedom a mastectomy will provide.
