  • Movie Fundraiser Last Sunday

    Kia ora everyone! Thank you to everyone who came along to my movie last week - we raised over $900 which is awesome and more than I could ever imagined raising! Unfortunately I broke my ankle on the day and couldn't attend the event but thankfully had some great pals take over for me whilst I was at the hospital. I am out of work for the forseeable future whilst I heal & missing out on the extra hours I would work to save - a bit of a set back so appreciate anyone who can share or donate to this page!   • Consultation Booked!

    Thank you for all the support both on here and on my upcoming movie fundraiser! I have officially booked a consultation in September! I’m still a while away from my savings goals , but am going to continue working hard and fundraising!

    appreciate the love on my birthday and i can’t believe i have almost raised a grand! i’m really struggling with dysphoria at the moment, feeling disconnected from my body. i’m working very hard to save & am quite burnt out. so it’s really nice to feel supported not just on this page but in real life from my great pals & awesome partner.

    Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone so much for supporting me before the end of this year. Every dollar means a lot to me and helps me get closer to my goal. Next year I will be making art & merchandise to sell where all profits will go to my surgery! Will keep you posted on here and on instagram! Hope everyone has a great holiday <3

  • Changing surgeons

    Thank you SO much to the lovely people who have donated and shared! <3 Apologies I haven't updated in a while, I've taken time away as the surgeon's rejection left me feeling a bit bummed. Instead of Thailand, I will now be going to Madrid which is slightly more expensive but accepting of bigger bodies. Surgery alone will cost $10.5k, adding in flights and accommodation comes to around 15.2k.

  • Minor change but still going ahead!

    Kia ora!! Thank you SO much to those who have shown their support by sharing / donating. Unfortunately my chosen surgeon has told me to lose twenty kilos in order to get surgery so I will be having to go to someone else. I refuse to (and cannot) conform to outdated, fat-phobic practices and do not feel confident with places limiting surgery with BMI guidelines. It sucks - the medical system is a challenge as a fat person - but I will not lose hope. I will update the page with cost changes etc!
