Just Zilch building

Our vision here at Just Zilch is the be a community that won’t let anyone go hungry. By rescuing surplus food from around the Palmerston North area, we work to minimise waste and redistribute rescued goods to those in need.

Having operated successfully out of our current location for over four years, we have recently found a new home to continue our work. There’s only one thing stopping us! Despite huge potential, our new premise on Featherston Street is currently nothing but a shell. The project we face in making our new home habitable is valued at more than $100,000 (a conservative guestimate). This includes refrigeration, shelving and meeting basic council requirements.

As a not-for profit organisation, we need your help to make this move possible. We are looking for people who are able to donate skills, time and resources wherever possible and are kindly accepting any donations with open arms. Our hope is that with the community on board, we can continue to help those in need, minimise food wastage and spread the love that is Just Zilch.
