David Razowsky, former artistic director of Second City in Chicago and now international improv teacher based in LA has a few words for Kiwis about the Covert. David has performed alongside Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert and is hugely respected in the global improv community.
Jonathan Pitts, festival director of the Chicago Improv Festival, the largest improv festival in the world and where the Covert's own Improv Bandits won the 2002 World Cage Match Championship title shares a message of support for #buildtheCovert outside The Second City, home of the US greatest comedic talent.
We did a show for Auckland City Mission - a show for Auckland's homeless on 8 August. They presented us with some taonga that they had carved at a wood carving workshop earlier in the day. We're looking forward to doing more of these kind of community shows once we have our own space.
