I'm going to beat my fears and jump for my friend.

Auckland

I have heard my friend Wiki is very unwell. I thought I would try do what I can to help so I've come up with this crazy idea. I'm going to bungy-jump (I'm sweating even thinking about it).

I'm terrified of heights and I get vertigo very badly. I know this is nothing compared to what Wiki and Malcolm are going through so I can jump off the silly bridge.... eek! This short, round strange little woman is goint to jump off a bridge - please donate!

I'm planning on doing this bungee the weekend of the 12th of October. I will be getting photos and videos to prove I've actually done it.

Any money raised goes straight to Malcolm, Wiki and the kids.

You can read below how unfair this all is and how any bit of money will help the Mulhollands. Below is Malcolms words and a link to his give a little page...

Kia ora folks.

On May 31st 2018, the world of my small family was dealt a devastating blow. My wife, Wiki (40), and mother to our three children, Molly Rose (17), Ihaia (13) and Patrick (10), was diagnosed with Stage Four Breast Cancer.

Immediately Wiki was prescribed Tamoxifen but sadly after two months worth of treatment, the cancer had spread to her lungs. This means that currently she is now undergoing chemotherapy in the hope of stopping the disease from spreading further.

Eventually she will require Ibrance-Palbociblib, a CDK4/6 inhibitor that stops the growth of cancer for a period of time. However Ibrance is not subsidized by Pharmac and therefore the monthly cost of the drug is between $5800. Ibrance also requires the taking of another drug, Fulvestrant, that costs an additional $1000. That's a total cost of $6800 per month, not including an administration fee that is charged also.

On behalf of our family, our heartfelt thanks for taking the time to read this page and for anybody able to contribute towards the cost of drugs that will prolong Wiki's life, enabling her to spend more time with family and friends.

The money will be spent to purchase Ibrance-Palbociblib and associated medical costs.
