I will be shaving my head to support not only the recovery, but the hard decisions and scary moments that follow a diagnosis.
Auckland
Standing in solidarity with my friend, sister, and many other whanau affected by life-altering injuries and diseases, I am shaving my head on Wednesday 17th February.
I will be shaving my head to support not only the recovery, but the hard decisions and scary moments that follow a diagnosis.
Every cent raised will be split between;
-A wahine toa, Darlene Ward, Ngati awa, Ngati Porou, Te Arawa, Tuwharetoa, beautiful mother of seven who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Since the recent diagnosis of cancer, it has promptly spread to the lymph nodes and surrounding the pancreas, bringing therapy to a nearer date.
Due to the rapid spread, treatment such as chemotherapy is to commence on Wednesday 17th February, hence the date I will shave.
-And my beautiful sister, Corrina Ngatoro, Ngati Porou, who at the age of twenty three, suffered a motor vehicle accident fracturing her C1, C2, and C3. Totally severing her cervical spine resulting in quadraplegia.
These are both traumatic situations, and I am super excited to be able to do this in support of them both.
As I do not have a set goal, any contribution would be greatly appreciated, including clicking share.
Although the shave is taking place on the 17th, this fundraise will remain open for one month.
Nga mihi nui ki a koe 🧡🙏
Every cent raised will be split between two beautiful wahine toa. To go towards their new life-changing journey.
