Community-led youth council empowering rangatahi on the Pohutukawa Coast to create inclusive events and share youth voices.
Beachlands, Auckland
The Pohutukawa Coast Youth Council is a group of passionate rangatahi (young people) aged 12–24 who work hard to make our community a better place, and we do it all as volunteers.
With the support of Auckland Council, we run free local events like Movie in the Park, youth hangouts, fundraisers, and more. We create safe, inclusive spaces for young people to be heard, seen, and supported.
But these events take time, people, and money.
We're asking for your help to make our next events even better. Every dollar donated goes straight back into our community, helping us fund things like:
Equipment & venue hire
Food & activity supplies
Health and safety essentials
Promoting youth-led initiatives
Your support helps young people grow leadership skills, connect with each other, and create real change in their town.
