California - New Zealand lifeguard exchange 2025

Auckland

Two lifeguards from New Zealand are selected each year and sent to California for a six week exchange. On the exchange the lifeguards learn from some of the beast in the world. They then bring these skills back to New Zealand and pass on the knowledge to our organisation. This year Kyran Gellespie (Baylys beach SLSC) and Judd Redmond (Sunset beach SLSC) have been selected and are raising funds to cover their travel expenses and related costs.

If you are unable to attend our quiz night but would still like to contribute this is the place to do so. Thank you for your generosity, any contribution is greatly appreciated!

Use of funds

Any money raised will go directly to our travel costs and expenses on the trip.
